About Tinuy-an Falls

"Tinuy-an Falls, located in Bislig, Surigao del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines, is a multi-tiered waterfall known as the "Little Niagara Falls" of the country. It is 95 meters wide and 55 meters high, with three visible tiers and a hidden fourth. Famous for its morning rainbows (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.), visitors can also ride rafts for a water "massage." The falls are a co-managed site by the Bislig tourism office and the Manobo Tribal Council. In 2024, birder Peter Kaestner spotted an Orange-Tufted Spiderhunter here, marking his 10,000th bird species and setting a new world record."
